9/29: Calcasieu Parish Sheriff announces arrest list

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Cynthia Sue Hodges, 51, 6026 Stewart Road, Vinton — violations of protective orders; possession of synthetic marijuana, first offense; drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; prescription requirement penalties; direct contempt of court.

Terry Lee Hodnett, 51, 3732 Paul White Road, Moss Bluff — illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments; hit-and-run driving. Bond: $10,000.

Larry James Chouest, 26, 2209 Elaine St. — encouraging or contributing to child delinquency, dependency or neglect; illegal possession of stolen things less than $1,000; direct contempt of court. Bond: $20,000.

Michael Dwayne Taylor, 44, Houston — domestic abuse battery, strangulation; direct contempt of court.

Vanessa Michelle Burt, 17, Ruston — encouraging or contributing to child delinquency, dependency or neglect; illegal possession of stolen things less than $1,000.

Cyril Ellis Prejean, 30, 391 Grimes Road, DeQuincy — simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; simple burglary; two counts direct contempt of court.

Emile Frank Price Sr., 55, 2701 8th St. — possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; four counts drug possession; driving on roadway laned for traffic; operating vehicle while license is suspended; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS. Bond: $61,000.

Treavonta Marquis Motton, 21, Beaumont, Texas — drug possession; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $10,500.

Lawrence Riggs Joseph, 47, 1309 Guillory St., Westlake — illegal carrying of weapons, first offense; flight from an officer; operating vehicle while license is suspended; proper equipment required on vehicles; obstruction of justice; evidence of motor vehicle security contained in vehicle. Bond: $14,000.

William Jeffery Spain II, 26, 624 Ford St. — felony-false communication with intent to cause an emergency response.

Jordan Mitchell Davis, 27, 211 Louie St. — operating vehicle while license is suspended; resisting an officer by refusal to I.D.; modification of exhaust systems; drug possession.
