Reva Faye Fontenot, age 95, of Lake Charles, La., passed away on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022. Reva was born June 17, 1927, to Walker and Agnes Knight.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ronnie Fontenot and wife Chris, Ginger Rice and husband Larry, and Theresa Taylor and husband Andy; grandchildren, Shalon Thompson, Ron Fontenot, Robbie LeJune, Christina Fontenot, Lannye Perkins, Brian Perkins, Holli Campbell, and Valerie Backus; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Biddle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Fontenot; and daughter, Renda LeJune.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home at 12 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at Lacassine Cemetery. Brother Dave Lang will be officiating at the services.
