Lesha “P” Valiare-Brown

Wife, Mother, Servant, Teacher, Creole cook, Traveler, Gardener, Scholar, Friend, Thrifter, and “mother-figure” to many. Lesha departed this earth on Sept. 9, 2022, at the age of 58.
Lesha “P” Valiare-Brown entered the world on Feb 19, 1964. Born the youngest of three to Aristille “Irving” and Naomi Valiare in Lake Charles, La. She was baptized into the Catholic faith as an infant at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Lesha graduated from Marion Senior High in 1982 and then pursued an associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from Northeast Louisiana University (University of Louisiana, Monroe) and later a bachelor’s in Liberal Studies from St. Edward’s University. She enjoyed a career as a compassionate certified Occupational Therapist (COTA). Lesha married her sweetheart, Charles R. Brown in Sept. of 1996 and to their union bore four children Charnae, Nathanael, Jedediah, and Maresha. Lesha faithfully followed her husband and was later baptized at Maranatha Bible Church where she attended with family. Lesha diligently followed God’s calling to coordinate, teach, and homeschooled her three children until High-School graduation. Lesha was an inspiring lover of Jesus Christ who ministered to everyone she knew whether by sharing a smile or scripture.
After meeting JESUS, she was greeted by her mother Naomi and father Aristille Valiare, and son Jedediah Brown. She will forever be cherished by her husband Charles R. Brown, children; Charnae, Nathanael, and Maresha Brown, motherin-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and many children-in-love.
