Clinton Hicks Hutto

Clinton Hutto, 67 of DeQuincy, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022. He was born on Jan. 19, 1955, to David and Laura Hutto in Lake Charles, La. He was a graduate of Barbe High School and worked as a welder until his retirement from PPG.
He was a loving husband, brother, in-law, uncle, dog daddy and friend. Nothing gave him more pleasure than being on the farm with the animals, cooking, and watching NASCAR.
Clinton is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen Bernard Hutto; their dog, Ruby; his brothers, David “Duck” Meyers and Rodney Hutto; his sister, Donita Dickerson, all of Lake Charles; his extended family… his mother-in-law, Sandra Bernard; Charlotte and David Landry, Dan Bernard, all of DeQuincy, Scott and Nancy Bernard of Lake Charles; his godchild, Alexis Hutto of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Laura Hutto; two brothers, Curtis Meyers and John Meyers, all of Lake Charles; one sister, Lynette Keith of Texas; and his uncle, Theos Duhon of Grand Lake, La.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, in the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Chapel. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. in Consolata Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
