Charles “Grub” Leonard Temple

Charles “Grub” Leonard Temple, 53, of Hackberry, La., passed away July 31, 2022, in his residence.
He was born in Sulphur, La., to Harold and Hilda Temple. Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army for six years as a certified cook. He had many hobbies which included painting, spending time outdoors on the water, fishing, and crabbing. Charles was very funny and witty and enjoyed being the life of the party.
Those left to cherish his memories are his sons, Leonard Charles Temple and wife Dasia, Austin Ray Temple and Blain Caffery Smith; his mother, Hilda Temple and companion, Captain Ricky Scott; siblings, Len Temple and wife Tristie, Sherri Barrow and husband John; grandchildren, Khaleesi, Knicomel, and Jhon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Len Temple Sr.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Hackberry, La. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hackberry, La. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Hackberry Community Cemetery. Pastor Monte Rowse will officiate services.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
