Central Library to close for painting project

Central Library, located at 301 W. Claude St., will be closed on Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 6-7, in order to paint in the children’s area.
Library officials anticipate the branch will reopen on Monday, Aug. 8.
Patrons are urged to refer to the Calcasieu Parish Public Library website at www.calcasieulibrary.org for up-to-date information on library services and programs during the temporary closure.
