“Red, White, and Boom” will have plenty of activities for the whole family, especially younger participants. The event will provide fun jumps and interactive games with prizes. The Soft Play sisters will also be in attendance with safe and modern play areas for children.

There will be free drinks, popcorn, and cotton candy available for participants. Food trucks will be set up with other options for sale. Some of the trucks that will be at “Red, White, and Boom” are: Gary’s Grub Hub, Fire & Spice, T-Doug’s Cajun Cuisine & Catering LLC, Mr. Bleu’s Shaved Ice, Kona Ice Sulphur/ Lake Charles, and Ohh Taste and See.

Live music will be provided by the local pop-rock band, The Flamethrowers. The band will play two sets during the event. “There will be a 30-minute break,” said Barton-Self. “During that break, we will be playing the National Anthem and Armed Forces March to recognize those who have served in the military.”

The celebration will be topped off with a fireworks display that will last about 10 minutes. This fireworks display will be produced by Pyromania Fireworks, LLC.

“Red, White, and Boom” will be hosted at the Moss Bluff Soccer Complex, 276 Jones Road. The event is smoke and alcohol-free.
