A juvenile has been arrested for making threats against Hamilton Christian School.

Lake Charles Police Sgt. Brenda Treadway said officers were notified May 4 of threats being made to the school over social media.

She said after an investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for a juvenile not enrolled in the school and an arrest was made.

No further information can be released due to the person arrested being a juvenile and to not jeopardize the ongoing case, Vincent said.
