EUNICE – Elrine Marie Caswell Belfour Segura, 94, passed away May 1, 2022, at The Guardian rehabilitation facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was born Aug. 29, 1927, in Eunice and preceded in death by husbands Lloyd Belfour, and L.J. Segura, her mother Loursia Bertrand Caswell, father C. Elice Caswell, sisters Ena Caswell Stroderd, Eve Caswell, Lillie Caswell Young, Beatrice Caswell Doucet, Imae Caswell Seilhan, brothers Viel Caswell, Elvin Caswell, and three infant siblings. She is survived by her sons Michael Belfour (Angie) of Eunice, Gregory Belfour (Margaret) of Lake Charles, grandchildren: Lauren Touchet (Jason), Kristin Belfour, Cameron Belfour, Jonathan Tolar, Caroline Belfour-Stanley (Bill), John Belfour, Joseph Belfour, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 9 a.m., with a Rosary preceding the 11 a.m. Mass. The family would like to express its gratitude to the staff of The Guardian and Brighton Bridge Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care of Elrine.
