SW La. school lunch menus April 25-29

The following menus for April 25-29 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Meatball sliders or turkey pot pie, baked potato, broccoli with ranch dressing, mandarin oranges, blueberries.

TUESDAY: Chicken spaghetti, yam patty, coleslaw, fruit cocktail, apple, vanilla grahams.

WEDNESDAY: Potato soup with diced ham or cheeseburger soup, carrot sticks, whole-wheat roll or cheddar cheese crackers, pineapple rings with cherries, banana.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, vegetarian or pint beans, mustard greens, grapes, orange.

FRIDAY: Pizza Pocket or chicken taquito, cream-style corn, celery sticks with ranch dressing, pizza crackers, peaches, raisins.


MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, apricots, apple.

TUESDAY: Mini biscuits, sausage patty, mandarin oranges, blueberries.

WEDNESDAY: Whole-grain cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese or cheese toast, fruit cocktail, apple.

THURSDAY: Oatmeal or oatmeal muffin, square, hash brown, raisins, banana.

FRIDAY: Blueberry waffles with syrup, vanilla graham crackers, grapes, orange.



MONDAY: Pizza, corn garden salad, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Chicken spaghetti, green beans, green salad, mixed fruit, breadstick.

WEDNESDAY: Baked chicken, broccoli, cheese and rice, casserole, corn, peaches, whole-wheat roll.

THURSDAY: Manager’s choice.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, salad cup, French fries, pears, brownies.


MONDAY: Toaster pastries, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Chicken biscuit, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon toast, pears.

THURSDAY: Breakfast burrito, mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Oatmeal, toast.



MONDAY: Corndogs, roasted potato wedges, fruit cocktail.

TUESDAY: Grilled cheese sandwiches, loaded baked potato soup, sweet corn, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Cheeseburgers, French fries, sweet pears.

THURSDAY: Beef meatballs with rice and gravy, mustard greens, cornbread muffins, raisins.

FRIDAY: Tacos, salsa, applesauce, sugar cookies.


MONDAY: Glazed donut holes, yogurt, cool peaches.

TUESDAY: Blueberry muffin, sweet peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal, toast, cinnamon apple slices.

THURSDAY: Eggo mini waffles, fruit cocktail.

FRIDAY: Crunchy cereal, pears.



MONDAY: Cheeseburger, French fries, green beans.

TUESDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, baby carrots, broccoli and cheese.

WEDNESDAY: Taco, tortilla chips, ranchero beans.

THURSDAY: Baked beans, rice, yeast rolls, field peas, pineapple chunks.

FRIDAY: Chopped barbecue sandwich, pork ‘n’ beans, sweet potatoes, cinnamon apples.


MONDAY: Cocoa Puffs, cherry Pop-Tart, mandarin oranges.

TUESDAY: Chocolate donut, mixed fruit cup.

WEDNESDAY: Sausage biscuit, red grapes.

THURSDAY: McGriddle, golden apples.
