Georgiana Ozane Celestine, 71, of Glenmora, La., passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Georgiana grew up in Bell City, La., and spent most of her life in the Lake Charles area. She was a homemaker who expressed her love toy creating elaborate meals. She also enjoyed gardening and creating a welcoming home.  Georgiana will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Georgiana was preceded in death by her parents, Lau’rent and Mildred Ozane; five siblings, Joseph Ozane, Jean Ozane, Loraine Simian, Ethel Denton; and four of her kids, Mark, Paul (Vicki), Lester, and Nancy Richard. She is survived in legacy by six siblings, Mildred Fontenot, Rudolph Ozane, Rose Ozane, Lawrence Ozane (Vee), Terry Ozane, and Josephine Celestine (Ike); three children, Marshall Richard (Kenney), Banard Celestine, and Sammy Celestine, and her companion of 16 years, Ivey Branch. Georgiana requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Georgiana’s loved one to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at The Foundation House, 720 Enterprise Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70601 on Saturday, Jan. 29 at noon.
