Funeral Services for Dorothy “Susie” Willis, 81, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, La.  The Rev. Emile Joseph, Pastor of Progressive Baptist Church in Iota, La. will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Burial will follow in Peterson Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.

“Susie” transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal home on Jan. 18, 2022, at Maison Du Monde Living Center in Abbeville, La.  She was born on Nov. 4, 1940 to the late Mary Jacko-Willis and Clarence Willis.

“Susie” leaves behind two sons, Reginald Willis and Brian Keith Willis; one grandson, Roland Willis, four great-grandchildren, Julian Willis, Caitlyn Willis, Dominic Willis and Bianca Willis; and one sister, Doris Kelly.

“Susie” was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Willis and Mary Jacko-Willis; daughter, Lisa Lorraine Greene; great-granddaughter Alana Willis; and great-great grandson, Alijah Willis.
