Larry Lynn Brice

Larry Lynn Brice, 75, of Welsh passed away at 10:17 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022 with his loving wife and daughter by his side.

Mr. Brice was born on June 20, 1946 in Eagle Lake, Texas.  He retired from Conoco/Excel Paralubes after 23 years.  After retirement, he became a master trainer for oilfield safety and has done so for six years.

He was a member of NRA and a life member of HOG.  Mr. Brice enjoyed collecting and restoring old WWII guns and documenting the history of his collection.  He especially cherished his time spent with his grandchildren and family.  He often traveled to see them wherever they may be at that time.  Mr. Brice will be remembered for his positive impact on his coworkers and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ann F. Brice; brother, Garry W. Brice; daughter, Kori Clevenger (Jerome); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.G. and Barbara Brice; brother, James T. Brice; and daughter, Stacey L. Hawkins.  

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  His nephew, Pastor Travis Brice, will officiate.  Visitation will be held at University Baptist Church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
