Cold front to move into SW La. today

A cold front will move north to south across our entire region today.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected, said Roger Erickson, warning coordination meteorologist for the National Weather Service Lake Charles office.
“There is a marginal (5 percent) risk for strong to severe storms, including damaging winds and tornadoes,” Erickson said.
He said the time of these storms will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Southwest Louisiana.
