SW La. school lunch menus Dec. 6-10

The following menus for Dec. 6-10 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services.

Allen

Lunch

MONDAY: Chicken fried beef patties or fingers with mashed potatoes and gravy, whole-grain breadstick, great northern or navy beans, fruit cocktail, plums.

TUESDAY: Chili mac with whole-grain biscuit or chili over cornbread bowl, cooked carrots, creamy coleslaw, pineapple tidbits, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue or lemon-baked chicken, baked beans, sweet potato with orange glaze, whole-wheat roll, peaches apple.

THURSDAY: Orange or soy sauce chicken or grilled chicken patty, fried rice, vegetable melody, mandarin oranges, pears, sugar cookie.

FRIDAY: Pizza, sweet peas, garden salad with dressing, melon cup, banana.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, honey bun, pears, apple.

TUESDAY: Whole-grain biscuit, sausage patty, fruit cocktail, plums.

WEDNESDAY: Waffle and chicken sausage sandwich or cheese toast, oatmeal, pineapple tidbits, banana.

THURSDAY: Mini French toast with syrup, hash brown, peaches, apple.

FRIDAY: Blueberry and cream cheese stick, yogurt with granola, mandarin oranges, pears.

MONDAY: Pizza, corn, salad, oranges wedges.

TUESDAY: Chicken fajitas, red beans, brown rice, taco salad cup, pineapple.

WEDNESDAY: Jambalaya, peas and carrots, peaches.

THURSDAY: Grilled chicken poboy, sandwich salad cup, sweet potato fries, fruit cup, Yocaramel dip.

FRIDAY: Hot ham and cheese hoagie, seasoned green beans, watermelon.
