A two-vehicle crash late Thursday night left one person dead.

Lake Charles Police Lt. Jeffrey Keenum said the crash occurred at about 11:17 p.m. on Interstate 210.

He said a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo was heading westbound in the outside lane, and stopped for an unknown reason with its emergency lights flashing. Keenum said a 2021 Ford F150 also traveling westbound in the outside lane did not see the Chevrolet and crashed into the rear of the Aveo.
