SW La. school lunch menus Nov. 29-Dec. 3

The following menus for Nov. 29-Dec.3 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.



MONDAY: Hot dog or corn dog, chili cup, French fries, broccoli with cheese, peaches, oranges.

TUESDAY: Chicken nuggets or chicken patty (breaded or grilled), white cheddar mac-n-cheese, yam patty, green beans, apricots, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Pork roast with rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, whole-kernel corn, fruit cocktail, grapes, whole-wheat roll or chocolate graham crackers.

THURSDAY: Nachos (meat, cheese sauce, tortilla chips) or chicken taquito, Mexican-style beans, lettuce/tomato cup, blueberries, raisins.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger or grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings or sweet potato fries, celery sticks, pears with shredded cheese cup.


MONDAY: Honey oat waffle with syrup, sausage link, strawberry cup, apple.

TUESDAY: Ham slice with grits, Trix cereal bar or graham crackers, peaches, orange.

WEDNESDAY: Bagel with cream cheese or toast with jelly, string cheese stick, apricots and banana.

THURSDAY: Pancake on a stick, hash brown, fruit cocktail, grapes.

FRIDAY: Breakfast break kit, muffin (banana or blueberry), blueberries, raisins.



MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, apple., rolls.

TUESDAY: Beef burrito, Spanish rice, red beans, oranges.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad, peaches.

THURSDAY: Chicken alfredo, broccoli, fruit cup, berry smooth dip.

FRIDAY: Barbecue chicken nachos, taco salad cup, red beans, pears, cinnamon rolls.


MONDAY: Breakfast sausage pizza, pears.

TUESDAY: Cinnamon rolls, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Western scramble, toast, peaches.

THURSDAY: Pancake and sausage wrap, pears.

FRIDAY: Yogurt, toast, mixed fruit.



MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, mixed vegetables, kiwi.

TUESDAY: Homestyle chili with shredded cheese, seasoned green beans, chilled peaches, Fritos corn chips.

WEDNESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, grape tomatoes, tossed salad, cantaloupe, Italian roll.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, sweet potatoes, cornbread muffins, applesauce cup.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, French fries, lettuce cup with sliced pickles, strawberries.


MONDAY: Assorted cereals, red apples, watermelon fruit cup.

TUESDAY: Pancake sliders, diced pears.

WEDNESDAY: Scrambled eggs, cinnamon toast, fruit cocktail.

THURSDAY: Parfait, yogurt, cinnamon granola, blueberries.

FRIDAY: Breakfast burrito wrap, banana.



MONDAY: Chopped barbecue beef sandwich, baked beans, sweet potato shoestring fries, pineapples and bananas.

TUESDAY: Chicken fried steak, yeast rolls, broccoli, mashed potatoes, four fruits explosion.

WEDNESDAY: Mini corn dogs, potato wedges, cucumber slices and celery sticks, pinto beans, tropical fruit salad.

THURSDAY: Baked chicken, rice, three cheese cavatappi, buttermilk biscuit, green beans, cherry/blue raspberry cup, cantaloupes.

FRIDAY: Cheese pizza, corn on the cob, broccoli and cheese, sliced peaches, sundae cup.


MONDAY: Dutch waffles, peach cup.

TUESDAY: Bacon breakfast pizza, pear cup.

WEDNESDAY: Fruit and granola parfait.

THURSDAY: Confetti pancakes, red grapes.

FRIDAY: McGriddle, Rice Krispies treats, mandarin orange cup.
