Laura Ann O’Quain, 76, of Sulphur, LA passed away on November 13, 2021, in a local care facility.

Laura was born on March 25, 1945, to Domel and Eulalie Royer in Welsh, LA. She enjoyed working in her yard, singing, and being around her family.

She is survived by her companion of 17 years, William “Ed” Cass III; granddaughters, Dana O’Quain Hilton and husband Justin, Carrie O’Quain and Bridget Simon; great grandchildren, Caavan Moore, Asher Moore, Jasper Moore, Hadleigh Moore, Easton Hilton, Christopher Trahan and Collyn Trahan. 

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Domel and Eulalie Royer; husband, James “Biggs” O’Quain Sr.; son, James “T Boy” O’Quain Jr; granddaughter, Tricia Faye O’Quain; daughter in law, Darlene O’Quain;  siblings ,Wilma M. Boudreaux, Wilda M. Boudreaux and Melvin Royer.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at the funeral home Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Big Woods Cemetery.
