SW La. school lunch menus Oct. 25-29

The following menus for Oct. 25-29 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.



MONDAY: Chicken fried beef patty or chicken fingers, mashed potatoes with gravy, whole-grain breadstick, great northern or navy beans, fruit cocktail, plums.

TUESDAY: Chili mac with whole-grain biscuit or chili over cornbread bowl, cooked carrots, creamy coleslaw, pineapple tidbits, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue or lemon-baked chicken, baked beans, sweet potatoes with orange glaze, whole-wheat roll, peaches, apple.

THURSDAY: Chicken and vegetable egg roll or orange chicken fried rice, vegetable melody, mandarin oranges, pears, sugar cookies.

FRIDAY: Pizza, sweet peas, garden salad with dressing, melon cup, banana.


MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, honey bun, pears, apple.

TUESDAY: Whole-grain biscuit, sausage patty, fruit cocktail, plums.

WEDNESDAY: Waffle and chicken sausage sandwich, oatmeal, pineapple tidbits, banana.

THURSDAY: Mini French toast with syrup, hash brown, peaches, apple.

FRIDAY: Blueberry and cream cheese stick, yogurt with granola, mandarin oranges, pears.



MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, carrots, apple.

TUESDAY: Beef taco crunchy, Spanish rice, red beans, fruit mix.

WEDNESDAY: Baked chicken, broccoli, cheese and rice casserole, whole-wheat rolls, pears.

THURSDAY: Meatball sliders, green beans, sandwich salad cup, fruit cup, berry smooth dip.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, baked French fries, sandwich salad cup, cinnamon rolls.


MONDAY: Breakfast sausage pizza, pears.

TUESDAY: Cinnamon rolls, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Western scramble, toast, peaches.

THURSDAY: Pancake and sausage wrap, pears.

FRIDAY: Yogurt, toast, mixed fruit.



MONDAY: Grilled cheese sandwich, loaded baked potato soup, mixed vegetables, strawberry cups.

TUESDAY: Homestyle chili with shredded cheese, seasoned green beans, chilled peaches, Fritos corn crips, cornbread muffins, chilled peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, grape tomatoes, tossed salad, cantaloupe, Italian roll.

THURSDAY: Louisiana jambalaya, sweet potatoes, cornbread muffins, applesauce cups.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, lettuce cup with sliced pickles, French fries, strawberries.


MONDAY: Assorted crunchy cereals, red apples.

TUESDAY: Pancake sliders, diced pears.

WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon toast, scrambled eggs, fruit cocktail.

THURSDAY: Build-your-own parfait, yogurt, cinnamon granola, blueberries.

FRIDAY: Breakfast burrito wrap, banana.



MONDAY: Cheeseburger, sandwich cup, sweet potato shoestring fries, broccoli and cheese, triple berry and pineapples.

TUESDAY: KFB bowl, buttermilk biscuit, side salad, fruit cocktail.

WEDNESDAY: Chopped beef burrito on a bun, creamy mac and cheese, roasted Mediterranean blend veggies, dark green salad with cherry tomatoes and carrot sticks, warm peaches, vanilla yogurt cup.

THURSDAY: Salisbury steak, rice, black-eyed peas, corn on the cob, tropical fruit salad,

FRIDAY: Beef fingers, yeast rolls, mashed potatoes, baked beans, red grapes, birthday cake yogurt dessert cup.


MONDAY: Buttermilk biscuit, mandarin orange cups, jelly.

TUESDAY: Glazed donut, cherry/blue raspberry cup, sausage.

WEDNESDAY: Fruit and granola parfait.

THURSDAY: Buttermilk pancakes, red apple.

FRIDAY: Bacon breakfast pizza, strawberry Grahamz, pear cup.

MONDAY: Pancake and sausage on a stick, pear halves.

TUESDAY: Assorted cereal, buttered whole-grain toast, cantaloupe.
