LAKE CHARLES – Fay J. Richard, born Dec. 16, 1941, daughter of the late John “Leus” Granger and Vernice Courville Granger, passed away in her residence on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at the age of 79.

Fay, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She was employed at Total Supply in sales. Fay was a wonderful mom, and never met a stranger. Fay’s generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Darrel “Shorty” Granger, Dwayne Granger; siblings, Jim “Brud” Granger, Roderick Granger, Gayle Granger, Louis “Tee” Granger.

Survivors are her sons, Howard Granger (Tammy Puckett), Brian Rhodes (Melinda); sister, Geraldine “Dean” McIntire (Mac); grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, and Adrienne Granger, Brandon and Brooke Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Forest, Zoey, Stella, Jeremiah, and Josiah.

Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, at 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa with Deacon Joseph E. Bushnell officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation is Monday in the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. with a rosary recited at 12:30 p.m.
