“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7

On Monday, Oct. 5, 2021, the sweet spirit of our beloved brother went home to be with the Lord, in New Orleans, La. David Jermaine Chambliss, 43, was born Nov. 2, 1977, to the parentage of, Tracy Lloyd Chambliss and Mary Louise Tucker in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Being raised in New Orleans, La., he was christened and baptized at an early age. He enjoyed life to the fullest and had a Great Love for his family.  He attended O. P. Walker High School in New Orleans, La., and he worked as an Electrician and Refrigeration Assistant at Tracy Chambliss Electrical Company from his youth, beside his father.  He was a skilled barber that loved hooking up fresh cuts, getting dressed up, and a good party with the youngsters.  Lil David…aka “SHORTY,” was a joker and prankster, that always loved making people laugh, being the life of the party, and truly loved spending time with family and friends.  He was a very mild-mannered and humble man that affectionately cared for his Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, and others in the neighborhood.  Lil David loved making memories with family, helping nieces and nephews with homework, and especially supporting and protecting them.
