Juanita Faye Gimbel, age 87, of Moss Bluff, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021. Juanita was born July 31, 1934, to George and Della White Karsch.

Juanita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved to be a homemaker and take care of her family. She was a very strong willed and independent woman and  was extremely proud of her family’s accomplishments. She loved to travel especially on Cruises.

Juanita was  preceded  in death by her parents; her loving husband of 60 years, Fred Jacob Gimbel; son, Roger Gimbel.

Those left to cherish Juanita’s Memory are her son, Richard Gimbel and wife Chae of Killeen, Texas; daughter, Gail Ramirez and husband Rey of Moss Bluff, La.; brother, Fred C. “Bubba” LeBleu and wife Ellie of Moss Bluff, La.; sister, Gwen Peloquin of Moss Bluff, La.; three grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at 1 p.m. with a Celebration of life to follow at 2 p.m.
