Garrett Joseph Taylor, age 25 of Kingwood, TX met his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12:42p in MHTW Medical Center in The Woodlands, TX.

Garrett was the first child born to Glenn and Linda Taylor on October 22, 1995 in Lake Charles, LA.  He was a 2015 graduate of Kingwood Park High School and was currently enrolled at The Village Learning Center.

Garrett enjoyed swimming, horseback riding, attending Sunday evening guitar mass at St Martha Catholic Church and joy rides in the Tesla.  He was an angel on earth who captured the hearts of many.

Garrett was welcomed into heaven by his paternal Grandfather, Glenn Taylor, Sr; his maternal Grandfather, Frank Streva; his maternal Grandmother, Novie Melanson and his maternal aunt, Sheila Streva Hidalgo.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory in addition to his parents are his sister, Emily Taylor of Littleton, CO; his paternal Grandmother, Elaine Taylor of Wilmington, NC and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.  Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate.  Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at University Baptist Church on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM.  Visitation will continue at University on Thursday from 9:00 AM until leaving for St. Martin de Porres at 1:00 PM.
