Donald “D.K.” Richmond, age 69, of Westlake, La. passed away on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021. Donald was born Nov. 19, 1951 to Ralph Richmond and Norma Reed Richmond.

D.K. was a native of Oakdale and resident of Westlake. He was the owner operator of Mountain Air HVAC company for several years. D.K. is remembered mostly as a man of high character. His subtle acts of kindness were enjoyed by so many through his business and his personal relationships. He was an avid outdoorsman, Harley Davidson enthusiast, and family man. The light that D.K. shined will forever remain evident in all things and whomever it shined upon. He will be greatly missed by many as he now rests forevermore high on the mountain.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Williann Richmond of Westlake; son, Donald Richmond and wife D’anna of Moss Bluff; daughters, Robyn Augustine and husband Monty of Fenton, Hiedi Borel of Moss Bluff, and Brittany Baggett and husband Justin of Lake Charles; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Richmond of Houston, Texas, and Reggie Richmond and wife Lauri of Gunter, Texas; and sister, Rebecca Huffman and husband Larry of Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
