Lynda  Sue Williamson

Lynda Sue Williamson, 67, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.  Mrs. Williamson was born on March 16, 1954, to J.L. and Rubye Marie Childress Smith in Shreveport, La.  She was a Special Education Teacher in Cameron Parish for 25 years.  Lynda was a hard worker, and a precious child of God who loved her children and family, and spending time with them.  She also enjoyed gardening, golfing and riding motorcycles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Williamson and one brother, Sonny Smith.  Left to cherish her memory are her husband Mitchel Wilson; sons, Casey Williamson (Tricia) and Rory Williamson; step-daughter, Michelle Walker (Mac); and five bonus grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, in the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Chapel.  Rev. Oliver McGuire and Rev. Michael Rodrigue will officiate.  Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, La., under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and will resume on Monday morning at 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m.
