Ralph Dewey Miller, son of Offord and Blanch Miller, and husband to Joan Miller, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 3, 2021.

Ralph was born on September 15, 1940 in Woodlawn and lived the majority of his life in Sulphur, Louisiana. Ralph was a graduate of Sulphur High School. He worked loyally for Texaco for 29 years. He also operated Millers Paint & Body Shop in Sulphur. Ralph was a kind and gentle man of strong faith. He worshipped with his church family at Houston River Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joan Miller; his children, Stephen Miller (Gena), Jill Guidry (Greg), Kimmy Hillebrand (Pete); his sister, Betty Lee; his grandchildren, Laura (Jonathan), Phillip (Sarahann), Mallory, Chase, Matthew, Kaye, Sara, Scott and Maggie and great grandchildren, Charlie, Houston, Brooklyn, and Ariel.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Gothrup officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
