Bob was preceded his death by his parents, his brothers: Adley and Edmond Cormier, sisters: Ruby Mott, Ludy Stelly, Louise Vernon, Estella Adams, and granddaughter Kaylex Wilson.

Bob enjoyed playing the guitar and singing gospel hymns. If you came by for a visit and happened to bring a guitar that visit would surely turn in to a joyful time enjoyed by all. There would be a lot of storytelling, cutting up and wonderful singing. He also enjoyed working outside and riding four wheelers with his grandkids.

Service will be Friday, Oct. 1, at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh, La. Visitation from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at time of service. Service will be officiated by Bro. Gerald Rodrique. Bro. Rodrique shared Bob’s love of the Lord and his love for guitar playing and singing. He also performed Bob and Carole’s wedding ceremony 33 years ago. What a blessing that he also be here to lay Bob to rest.
