Cody Ryan Gann, age 35, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Cody was born July 14, 1986 in Lake Charles, LA.

He was a lifelong resident of Sulphur and a 2005 Sulphur High School graduate where he played football. He loved watching football, especially the LSU Tigers! Cody enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church after making his ACTS retreat in 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are his grandmother, Tina Moro Rogers of Sulphur; his daughter, Khloe Gann of New York; his siblings, Gabe Gann (Lisa) of La Porte, T.X.; Shane Gann (Trina) of Sulphur, Kristen Cain (James) of Sulphur; his nieces and nephews, Jon Gabriel, Owen, Grayson, Troy, Tory, Marcus, Allison, Kandace; his Godparents, Tina Rogers Hudson of Sulphur and Jamie Rogers of Edgerly; and a host of aunts, uncles and extended family members and friends.

Cody is preceded in death by his mother, Angela Rogers; his father, Robert Gann; maternal grandfather, E.J. Rogers; paternal grandparents, Lester & Rose Fox Gann.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Goodly officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service with a Rosary service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The family asks that all in attendance wear purple and gold to honor Cody.
