Charlotte Odile Lemoine, age 89, of Sulphur, La. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born on Jan. 11, 1932 in Bordelonville, La.

Charlotte was also known as “Jo” or “Aunt Jo” by many family members. Charlotte was a longtime member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Catholic Daughters, Silver Singers, and Church Choir. Charlotte was a faithful servant to her Lord and very spiritual. Charlotte was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Charlotte was an avid reader, she loved sewing for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and we can’t leave out her immense love for all fur-babies!

Charlotte was preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Louis Lemoine; parents, Edward “E.B.” Lemoine and Mrs. Odile Lemoine; sisters, Esla “Tut” Desselle, Henrietta “Pooh” Gremillion and Rachel LaBorde; and a brother, Hewitt “Bud” Lemoine.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marsha Williams and husband, David; daughter, Debbie Bordelon and Terry; son, Paul LeMoine and wife, Christine; grandchildren, Michelle Slocum and husband, Cameron, Jason Williams, Stephen Bordelon and wife, Sarah, Kevin Bordelon and wife, Teressa, Krista Kaye LeMoine and husband, Harris, Joshua LeMoine; great-grandchildren, Camryn, Conner, Ava, Brecken, Blake, Isabella, Lawton, and Finley; brother, Edward Lemoine and wife, Donna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume at 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor with The Rev. Michael Beverung officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss.
