Jay Benton McGee, age 39, passed away Thursday September 23, 2021.

He was born in Lake Charles, LA on March 26, 1982.

He was a native of Westlake and a resident of Henderson, TX.

Jay was preceded in death by his grandfather Cecil Robert Perkins and grandmother Brenda Jann Bennett.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife and soul mate of 11 years Alina Thibodeaux; his parents Teddi Perkins Guillory and husband Darrell of Sulphur, LA; his two sons Damon McGee and Kaleb McGee, both of Henderson, TX; daughter Emily McGee of Henderson; his three brothers Joey Sedlock of Lake Charles, LA, Jake Guillory of Sulphur, LA, and Derrick Guillory of Gonzales, LA; and his sister Jill McGee of Iota, LA.

Jay was loved by so many and will be deeply missed. He was a devoted father and husband, a follower of Christ, and a hard worker. He enjoyed grilling and watching football, but mostly just spending time with his family. Whether he was wrestling with the kids, throwing the ball in the yard, or cheering on the sidelines at every game, Jay was the most amazing Daddy to his children.

A visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 2 pm led by Pastor Otis Marsh and Joey Sedlock.
