Clara B. Toussaint “Reesy”, 80, was born June 6, 1941 in Tyrone, La. to the late Wallace Declues and Hazel Guillory.  A native of Tyrone, she resided in Lake Charles, La. most of her life where she was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Washington High School, and a retired employee of the Calcasieu Parish School Board for over 33 years.

She departed this life Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at 3:49 p.m. She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Johnette R. Mitchell (Charles Patterson), Cynethia Denise Levias, and Blanche (Paul) Wiltz; two sons, Wallace (Ivy), Dwayne, and Patrick Toussaint; one step-sister, Theresa Martin; step-mother, Dorothy Green; cousin, Patricia McPherson; six grandchildren, Courtney, Tiara, Darrell and Darrius Levias, Devola Johnson, and Keola Stagg; eight great-grandchildren, Daylin Brown, Darrian and Trinity Williams, Chance Adams,  Zaria Vital, Demi Lee, Kaliegh Jolee, and Kinslee Denise Levias.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Tamara and Daniel Toussaint.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 from 9 a.m. with the funeral following at 11 a.m., at New Covenant Faith Baptist Church, 2233 12th Street in Lake Charles. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
