Brenda Baronet Carver passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021.

She was born in Rayne, La., to parents John and Malia Baronet on May 27, 1947.

Brenda was a resident of Westlake, La., and a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church where she formerly taught CCD, was a Lecturer and Eucharistic Minister, and attended the A.C.T.S. Retreat. She retired as a school bus driver for Bus #165 with the Calcasieu Parish School Board. In her spare time Brenda enjoyed travelling, attending church, and spoiling her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Malia Baronet.

Those left to cherish Brenda’s memory are her husband of 41 years, Johnny Carver of Westlake, La.; her three sons, Sean Benoit and wife Cherie of Westlake, La., Clint Carver and wife Tammy of Walker, La.; and Jake Carver of Westlake, La.; her daughter Kim House and husband Robert of Kingwood, Texas; her sister Johnnie King and husband Richard of Sulphur, La., and thirteen grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Hixson Westlake Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, from 4 p.m until 8 p.m. A Rosary will take place Friday Sept. 24, 2021, at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday Sept. 25, 2021, beginning at 8 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021. The Rev. Michael Barras will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
