VINTON- Jeffrey Wayne Perry, 56, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, in a Baton Rouge hospital.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Vinton. Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, and cooking. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a volunteer fireman with the Vinton Fire Department. He worked for 35 years with Mundy Construction working at Invista in Orange, Texas. Jeff was a very giving person, often helping with various benefits to assist those in need.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Perry of Vinton; his fiance’, Tricia Hooper of Vinton; his sisters, Regina Perry Combs and Steven LeBlanc of Spring, Texas, and Yvette Perry Bonsall and Deonte Peters of Sulphur; his step-daughter, Lyndsie Blanchard and husband, Garrett of Sulphur and their children, Henley and Hallie Blanchard; and his nieces and nephews, Cody LaCombe, Kelsie LaCombe, Allyson White, and Gabriel Bonsall. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Perry; and his great-nephew, Ja’Koby LaCombe.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.  22, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Pallbearers will be members of the Vinton Fire Department. Visitation will be held in the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service with a rosary service at 11 a.m. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
