Aaron Paul “Boo Boo” Moody, age 68, of Vinton, Louisiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Aaron was born on January 15, 1953 in Vinton, Louisiana.

Aaron was a lifelong resident of Vinton and worked in the automotive field for over 50 years. Aaron owned and operated Dean’s Service Center in Orange, Texas. Aaron never met a stranger! He loved cooking, camping, and trips to the casino.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Eva Moody, sister, Nina Glaze, brother, Robert Stewart, and brother, John Moody.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Susan Moody; son, Aaron Paul Moody II and wife, Jessie; son, Abram Moody and wife, Royalea; grandchildren, Matthew Lucas, Kami Moody, and Alston Moody; sister, Melissa Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Hixson Funeral Home, Vinton and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Hixson Funeral Home, Vinton with Bro. Rick Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home, Vinton.
