Timothy Harrison Helms, 59, of Sweet Lake passed away on Sept. 9, 2021 in a local hospital.

Tim was born on Aug. 25, 1962 in Creole, La. to Edmund Helms and Debbie LaBove (Helms) Lafosse. As a career, Tim was a welding inspector, which took him on various jobs throughout the United States. He made many lasting friendships with co-workers while traveling with his job. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, and watching his children playing sports. There was no such thing as a “free” weekend around his house. There was always a project going on; something was always being remodeled or rebuilt on the farm. Tim was a member of Sweet Lake United Methodist and a member of Masonic Lodge 424.
