Patsy Lillian Snyder

Patsy Lillian Snyder passed away on August 31, 2021.

She was born in Crystal Spring, MS on February 1, 1942 to parents Troy Hailey and Helen Parker.

Patsy lived in Lake Charles before she moved to Birdnest Moss Bluff, LA. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School and a member of the Lake Charles High Kilties. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff where she sang in the choir. She was a talented artist, interior designer and decorator, and seamstress. She also had a puppet and clown ministry. Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to spend her free time attending her children and grand children’s activities at school and church and would remember all their birthdays.

She was preceded in death by her parents Troy and Helen Hailey, and her son Jeffrey Snyder.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Tom Snyder of Moss Bluff; one son Donny Snyder of DeQuincy, one daughter Kristi Morehead of Denham Springs, LA; nine grandchildren Dustin Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Leann Messina, Payton Morehead, Madison Snyder, Hudson Snyder, Sophia Snyder, Kelsey Snyder, and Troy Snyder; nine great grandchildren Denver, Grant, and Nate Thomas, Leighton Thomas, Harper, Brynn, Beckham, Hayden Messina, and Jovie Frazier.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at the Hixson Moss Bluff Funeral home on Friday September 3, 2021 starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Internment will immediately follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
