Crime Roundup: Sex offender arrested for failure to register

A 35-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
According to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center, Wilson Patrick Williams was arrested Friday by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Williams, 2331 N. Flounder Drive, was released Saturday after posting a $5,000 bond.
Williams was convicted of indecent behavior with juveniles in December 2011.
Lake Charles woman facing multiple charges
A 29-year-old Lake Charles woman has been charged with 29 counts of forgery, 29 counts of unauthorized use of an access card under $500 and theft over $500.
According to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center, Kayla Foster Hennen was arrested Friday by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Bond was set at $33,900.
Hennen, 1646 Ira Breux Road, Apt. A, was also arrested July 8 and charged with drug possession, first-offense marijuana possession, theft over $500, possession of stolen things over $500 and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released three days later after posting a $3,250 bond.
Vinton man charged with drug possession
A 41-year-old Vinton man has been charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute.
According to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center, Kenneth Lee Roberts was arrested by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at his home Saturday afternoon.
Roberts, 1119 U.S. 90, remained in jail Monday on a $500,000 bond.
Simpson man facing host of charges
A 34-year-old Simpson man has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an expired license.
Joseph Tillman Clark was arrested following a traffic stop on July 17.
Bond was set at $16,353.
Leesville man arrested after violating probation
A 53-year-old Leesville man has been charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and a probation violation.
Clyde Elbert King was arrested on July 15.
Authorities served a warrant to King because he failed to meet with his probation officer in October 2012.
Total bond was set for $15,000.

• Mcquinton Dwayne Simon, 29, 1908 7th St. — home invasion, aggravated criminal damage to property, simple battery, false imprisonment. Bond: $55,000.
• Joseph Dwayne Budwine, 30, 1105 Eddy St., Vinton — drug possession. Bond: $50,000.
• Corey James Leday, 22, 6153 Adele St. — cyberstalking, telephone communications improper Language or harassment, illegal carrying of weapons, illegal use of CDS in presence of minors, possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $34,000.
• Kasey James Loyd, 24, 1414 Shaw St. — two counts of drug possession. Bond: $30,000.
• Keliyn Terel Thomas, 22, 1124 Catus Drive — second-degree battery. Bond: $25,000.
• Corey James Mitchell, 29, 2432 May St., Westlake — four counts of probation violation. Bond: $15,000.
• Jana Michelle Durbin, 26, 1029 14th St. — aggravated burglary, theft over $500. Bond: $12,000.
• Joshua James Stevens, 24, 1926 Winterhalter St. — aggravated burglary, theft over $500. Bond: $12,000.
• Antonio Markricus Heard, 30, Shubuta, Miss. — domestic abuse battery. Bond: $10,000.
• Dennis Lee Chiasson, 52, 534 Kim St., Sulphur — domestic abuse battery. Bond: $5,000.
• Glenn James Gilbert, 53, 1972 Dixon St., Vinton — aggravated assault with a firearm, illegal use of weapons.
• Kirby A. Lambert, 35, 1831 Sara St., Sulphur — simple burglary, theft over $500, theft under $500, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, four counts of attempted simple burglary.
• Phuoc Minh Le, 34, Houston — marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
• James Vrong Cao, 24, Houston — drug possession with intent to distribute, illegal carrying of weapons.
