Pineville man faces 31 sex-crime charges

PINEVILLE (AP) — Pineville police have arrested a man wanted on suspicion of 31 sex crimes involving juveniles.
The Town Talk reports 38-year-old Lavelle Davis was arrested Monday by Pineville Police Department officers, with assistance from the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force.
He was booked with five counts of sexual battery, four counts of pornography involving juveniles, six counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, five counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, nine counts of trafficking of children for sexual purposes and two counts of aggravated incest.
The investigation of Davis began Friday with a complaint that he was behaving inappropriately with juveniles.
Bond has not yet been set.
It's not clear whether Davis has an attorney.
