St. Amant man arrested on obscenity count

PRAIRIEVILLE (AP) — Police say a St. Amant man was arrested after allegedly exposing himself to shoppers at the Prairieville Wal-Mart.
Ascension Parish Sheriff's Lt. Col. Bobby Webre said in a news release received by The Advocate video surveillance at the store showed a man walking through the store on Wednesday with his pants open and exposing himself to customers.
Webre says 27-year-old Steven Reed was booked on an obscenity count.
It was unclear whether Webre has an attorney.
