The following menus for Aug. 26-30 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change. All include choice of milk.

Beauregard Parish

Lunch

Monday: Hamburger on whole wheat bun, sweet potato fries, sliced peaches, and choice of chilled fruit.

Tuesday: Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet peas, orange slices, choice of chilled fruit, and whole wheat roll.

Wednesday: Sloppy Joe on whole wheat bun, baked beans, tossed salad, pears, choice of chilled fruit, and whole wheat sugar cookie.

Thursday: Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, green beans, tossed salad, mixed fruit salad, and choice of chilled fruit.

Friday:

Pizza variety, relish tray with dip, seasoned corn, fresh apple and choice of chilled fruit.

Calcasieu Parish

Lunch

Monday:

Spaghetti and meat sauce, tossed salad, sliced kiwi, and whole grain roll.

Tuesday:

Baked chicken, glazed sweet potatoes, buttered broccoli, cantaloupe, and whole grain roll.

Wednesday:

Red beans, rice and sausage, steamed cabbage, and fruit cocktail.

Thursday:

Baked fish on a bun, tossed salad, baked fries, and watermelon.

Friday:

Hot dog on bun, baked bean, confetti cole slaw, and chilled peaches.

Cameron Parish

Lunch

Monday: Hamburger, oven fries and pineapple tidbits.

Tuesday: Chicken fajitas, broccoli florets, fruit cocktail, flour tortillas, and sliced bread.

Wednesday: Beef finger steaks, baked beans, tomato wedges, chilled pear halves and sliced wheat bread.

Thursday: Baked chicken, rice, black-eyed peas, fresh baby carrots, chilled peach slices and whole wheat biscuit.

Friday: Baked ham, tossed salad, green beans, apple wedges, and sliced wheat bread.

Diocese of LC

Lunch

Monday:

Spaghetti, green beans, lettuce salad, applesauce and garlic breadstick.

Tuesday:

Country fried steak, macaroni and cheese, cucumbers and broccoli with creamy dip, orange wedges and whole wheat roll.

Wednesday:

Oven fried chicken, Spanish rice, black-eyed peas, carrots, apple slices and whole wheat roll.

Thursday:

Soft and hard tacos, lettuce, tomato, whole kernel corn and fruit cocktail.

Friday:

No school.
