Auditions for Choral Foundation, Les Petites Voix begin today

The Louisiana Choral Foundation’s Masterworks Chorale will begin rehearsals for its 2012-2013 season, titled “American Tapestry,” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, in the University United Methodist Church choir room.
New singers should contact artistic director Darryl Jones at 475-5003 to discuss voice placement.
Les Petites Voix, the Louisiana Choral Foundation’s community children’s choir, will begin its 2012-2013 rehearsal season with auditions also on Monday. To audition, call 912-8592.
Rehearsals, under the direction of Kari McCarty Proksch, will begin 4:15-5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, in the Lake Charles-Boston Academy of Learning choir room.
