Two Texas men have been arrested for an alleged rape at a nightclub in Vinton, local authorities said.
A 21-year-old woman reported the rape at 4 a.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Quintin D. Gonzales, 21, of Sealy, Texas, and Uriel H. Ramirez, 28, of Winfield, Texas, are being held at the Calcasieu Correctional Center on bonds of $450,000, set by Judge Clayton Davis. They are both charged with aggravated rape.
The sheriff’s office said that when he was questioned by detectives, Gonzales confirmed the allegations.
The woman claimed two men attacked her as she exited the nightclub, took her behind the club and raped her, CPSO said.
Based on a detailed description given by the victim, deputies and nightclub security found the two men in a bunk house behind the nightclub.
