SULPHUR – Sulphur police are looking for a man who pulled off the Saturday morning armed robbery of the Pay Day Now at 550 N. Cities Service Highway.
According to Sulphur Police Chief Lewis Coats, the incident occurred at about 10:40 a.m. Witnesses told officers that a black male brandished a hand gun and demanded money. He fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
No one was injured in the incident.
The Sulphur Police Detectives Division is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call Sulphur police at 527-4550 or Crime Stoppers 439-2222.
