JENNINGS — A Jefferson Davis Parish woman is facing charges of accessory to failure to register and report a sex offender, obstruction of justice and improper supervision of a juvenile.

Nichole Lantz, 20, of Jennings was arrested Friday at her residence on Gallup Street by sheriff’s office detectives.

The arrest followed an investigation of a sex offender, previously arrested for a parole violation, sheriff’s office spokesman Christopher Ivey said.

Lantz is the mother of a juvenile who was staying in the home with the registered sex offender, Ivey said.

Lantz was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail and was later released on bond.
