Authorities are looking for a man wanted in connection with the Monday robbery of a convenience store in Starks.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said that around 12:30 a.m. a man walked into the EZ-Mart store at 4371 La. 12.

“The store clerk said a man entered the store and demanded money,” Myers said in a news release on Tuesday. “After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the store on foot.”

Myers said the suspect is a white man, with fair skin, clean shaven with freckles and a large tattoo on his right shin. He was wearing blue-jean shorts, a green shirt and plaid baseball cap.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying this man.

If anyone knows anything about this robbery, please call Detective Kerrick Gabriel at 491-3613 or Crimestoppers at 439-2222.
