A 30-year-old Lake Charles woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing from her former employer, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Ashley Bazinet said Courtney R. Miller, 6015 Noble Lane, was arrested on Jan. 8.

“During the investigation, detectives discovered Miller used over $950 in company funds to pay numerous personal bills between October and December 2012,” Bazinet said Thursday in a news release. “When questioned by detectives, Miller confirmed to using the company’s funds.”

Miller has been charged with three counts of bank fraud and three counts of theft $500-$1,500.

Judge Robert Wyatt set Miller’s bond at $4,500.
