A 42-year-old Lake Charles man was charged with fourth-offense DWI, driving with a suspended license and speeding, state police said.
Sgt. James Anderson said Roger L. Paris was arrested early Friday morning after his vehicle was seen traveling 93 mph in a 60 mph zone on Interstate 210.
"In 2011, Troop D arrested over 1,200 people for impaired driving," Anderson said. "Many of those impaired drivers were reported to State Police by concerned motorists. To report impaired drivers, motorists are encouraged to dial *LSP (*577) from their cellular phone or to contact their local law enforcement agency."
