Lake Charles man charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder

A Lake Charles man wanted for four counts of attempted first-degree murder was arrested Monday in Anahuac, Texas, authorities said.

Desmond Lamar General, 26, 304 N. Bank St., was wanted for an Aug. 14 incident at 1801 Augustus St., according to a news release from Lake Charles police Cpl. Larry Moss.

Moss did not elaborate on the incident.

General was extradited to Lake Charles and is being held at Calcasieu Correctional Center on $2 million bond, set by Judge Clayton Davis.
