Lake Charles man charged with enticing prostitution

A 61-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged with enticing persons into prostitution, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Richard D. Samudia, 4431 Howard St., was arrested Friday.
“Vice detectives arrested Samudia after an investigation revealed he offered to pay a 20-year-old female for sexual favors,” Myers said in a news release. “Detectives discovered Samudia gave the victim a list of benefits she would receive, including cash, paid healthcare and maintenance on her vehicle.”
Judge Kent Savoie set Samudia’s bond at $3,000.
