Fry, Bourgeois named McNeese homecoming royalty

Jessica Fry, a nursing senior from Lake Charles, and Austin Bourgeois, an engineering technology senior from Sulphur, have been named McNeese’s 2012 homecoming queen and king.
The royal pair and court will be presented during the McNeese vs. Stephen F. Austin game at 7 p.m. today in Cowboy Stadium.
Other court members to be presented during halftime ceremonies are Megan Anderson of Hessmer, Nicholas Johnson of Welsh, Jade Perry of Iowa, and Ryan Rapp of Sulphur, all seniors; Alexandra “Ali” Gallier and Colten Miller of Lake Charles and Leah Moore and Dillon Richard of Welsh, all juniors; Michael Bass of Sulphur, Catherine Delahoussaye of Lake Charles, Kourtney Kennedy of Moss Bluff and Garrett Soileau of Lake Charles, all sophomores; and Maddy Dulany of Sulphur and Grant Dunn of Moss Bluff, both freshmen.
Fry is the daughter of Dudley and Susan Fry. She is the formal recruitment chairman for Alpha Delta Pi sorority and is newsletter editor for the Student Nurses Association. She was nominated by Alpha Delta Pi.
Bourgeois is the son of Tony Bourgeois and Janet Rider. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, the Newman Club and Blue & Gold Peerleaders. He was nominated by the McNeese Cheerleaders.
Anderson, daughter of Clark and Melissa Anderson, is majoring in mass communication. She is president of the Student Union Board and vice president of Chi Omega sorority. She was nominated by SUB and Chi Omega.
Johnson, son of Wayne and Carla Johnson, is majoring in civil engineering. He is internal vice president of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, a Student Government Association senator and a member of SUB, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Newman Club and Blue & Gold Peerleaders. He was nominated by Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Perry, daughter of Jeff and Renae Perry, is majoring in nursing. She is the secretary/teams coordinator for Up ’til Dawn and a member of Chi Omega sorority. She was nominated by Up ’til Dawn.
Rapp, son of Patrick and Rebecca Rapp, is majoring in visual arts. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and is marketing and public relations coordinator for SUB. He was nominated by SUB.
Gallier, daughter of James and Paula Gallier, is majoring in mass communication. She is the member educator for Chi Omega sorority and a member of Blue & Gold Peerleaders and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She was nominated by Chi Omega.
Miller, son of Chris and Avonna Miller, is majoring in marketing. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and a member of SUB and Blue & Gold Peerleaders. He was nominated by Blue & Gold Peerleaders and SUB.
Moore, daughter of Robert and Jacqui Moore, is majoring in nursing. She is a member of Phi Mu sorority and Blue & Gold Peerleaders. She was nominated by Blue & Gold Peerleaders.
Richard, son of Steven and Celeste Richard, is majoring in both mass communication and visual arts. He is vice president of Greek Unity Board, public relations chairman of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and an SGA senator. He was nominated by Pi Kappa Alpha.
Bass, son of Terry and Debbie Bass, is majoring in exercise science. He is a member of Blue & Gold Peerleaders and Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was nominated by Pi Kappa Alpha.
Delahoussaye, daughter of Glenn and Jeanne Delahoussaye, is majoring in elementary education. She is vice president of academics for the Newman Club, public relations coordinator for Students for Life and a member of Chi Omega sorority. She was nominated by the Newman Club.
Kennedy, daughter of Gary and Monica Kennedy, is majoring in business education. She is community service chairman for Chi Omega sorority, lead program coordinator of McNeese’s Multicultural Programming and a cheerleader. She was nominated by Davante Lewis.
Soileau, son of Latt and Jennifer Soileau, is majoring in mechanical engineering. He is a member of the Newman Club and Ducks Unlimited. He was nominated by the Newman Club.
Dulany, daughter of Walt and Melanie Dulany, is majoring in nursing. She is a member of Phi Mu sorority and SUB.
Dunn, son of Ronnie and Ann Dunn, is majoring in both marketing and management. He is a member of SUB, Up ’til Dawn and Blue & Gold Peerleaders. He was nominated by Blue & Gold Peerleaders.
